In 2019, Jean Michel Grønnegaard Deleuran left his office job to pursue a dream – changing the way people think about traditional toppings for Danish smørrebrød. That dream became Rørt, a place that reinvents the classic dish with a fresh, modern twist.
At Rørt, the focus is on simple yet refined creations. The toppings are freshly made and lighter, with less mayo and more vibrant vegetables. Every dish is crafted by flavour enthusiasts who love surprising and delighting with bold, unexpected tastes – all starting with the finest organic and local ingredients.
